This past weekend I baked sugar cookies using both recipes in the Cook's Illustrated-Food52 showdown. I present to you the winning cookie: Cook's Illustrated Chai-Spiced Sugar Cookies.
Soft center, crisp edges, and the spices add depth to the sugary sweetness. Cardamom -- yum!
